Corrosion Resistant Pump
QThe pump broke when air entered it during operation. What can be done to prevent this?
ASeikow Chemical Engineering and Machinery manufactures Dry-Run Protectors. It monitors the pump amperage during operation, so that if the pump is empty or air enters the pump it will automatically shut down operations to prevent the pump from getting damaged.
QThe pump wouldn’t work even after it and its parts have been inspected in a periodic service. Is it broken?
AHave you primed the pump? If the priming has done, it is probable that air may be in the piping, thus preventing the water from moving. The pump should work properly once the air is let out the system by setting the discharging outlet outside the pump.
QCan magnetic drive pumps be exported?
AExport permission must be obtained from Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry for pumps with fluorocarbon polymer sealed doubly or more, or seal-less pumps. Please refer to the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Security Export Control Policy Division web page for details.

QWhat do I do when the gas volume is small?
AFirstly check to see if it’s on a single-phase operation, then reconnect correctly. If the damper is not properly adjusted, make the necessary adjustments and clean any accumulated dusts. When the resistance in the piping is too big, please lessen it.
QWhat do I do when there is no airflow?
ACheck to see if the impeller is rotating or not.and repair the electric motor if it’s necessary. If the damper is closed, please adjust the damper mechanism correctly.
QThere are abnormal noises or vibrations.
AFirstly check to see if the equipment is securely fastened to the base. Clean any dusts off the impeller. When there are noises coming from the bearing, replace it.
QWhat do I do when it uses too much electrical current?
AFirstly check to see if it’s on a single-phase operation, then reconnect correctly. If the damper is closed, please adjust the damper mechanism correctly. When the resistance in the piping is too big, please lessen it. Clean anydusts off the impeller.
QWhat do I do when it doesn’t rotate even though it’s switched on?
AMake sure that the machine is correctly connected to the power supply and replace the fuse if it’s broken.
If the overload safety guard mechanism has been tripped, reduce the load and restart.
Environmental Equipment
QWhat do I do if the biological deodorization tower doesn’t seem to be removing the odor?
ACheck and confirm the irrigation and specified volume are in order. The bacteria may weaken or die if operation is suspended for a long time. Continue to irrigate regularly during periods when the deodorizer is not in operation. If the order is still not removed after the irrigation volume is adjusted properly, please carry out the adhension of activated microorganism bacteria operation.
QWhat do I do if the activated carbon absorption tower doesn’t seem to be removing the odor?
AThe activated carbon probably needs to be replaced. Please contact the persons in charge at our offices.
QWhat do I do when the removal efficiency declines?
APlease consider the following possible causes.
- The cleaning fluid has deteriorated.
Please check the cleaning solution density’ concentration and pH. Adjust as necessary. - The gas volume is too high.
If the gas volume is not within the specified range, please adjust the damper accordingly.
QWhat do I do if the pressure loss in the cleaning tower is abnormally high?
APlease consider the following possible causes.
- Is the Gas volume too high?
Adjust tighten the duct damper in the duct to adjust the flow to ensure the gas volume stays within specified range. - Is there an internal blockage?
If you think there is an internal blockage, please clean as instructed below:
Filling Type Scrubber (TRS model) ：the filling and mist catcher
Sieve Tray Scrubber (SBS model) ：the Sieve tray and mist catcher
Spray Tower Scrubber (TBS model) ：the rectification grid and mist catcher. - Is there too much cleaning fluid?
Reduce the amount of cleaning fluid in the equipment.
QHow should I go about it when I want an estimation on an scrubber or deodorizing device?
AMain features of the products are listed below.
■Wet type Scrubber
- Filling Tower Type scrubber(TRS-F model・TRS-G model)
Most suitable for processing both low and high concentrations of gas with a wide range of variable airflow.
It is not suitable for gases mixed with dusts. - Horizontal Filling Type scrubber(SYS-E model)
Can be installed where vertical types towers are not suited to be installed.
Most suitable for processing both low and high concentrations of gas with a wide range of variable airflow.
It is not suitable for gases mixed with dusts. - Bubbling（Sieve tray）scrubber（SBS-B Model）
Suitable for processing low to medium concentrations of gas with mixed-in dust.
The airflow may be varied within the range of 70% or more than the specified amount of airflow. - Bubbling (movable sieve tray) Tower Type Scrubber(SCB-A Model)
Suitable for processing low to medium concentrations of gas with mixed-in dust.
The airflow may be varied within the range of 30% or more than the specified amount of airflow during the operation of the sieve tray. - Spray Tower Type Scrubber（TES Model）
Suitable for processing low concentrations of gas.
Able to cope with all air flow variations.
Suitable for processing gases mixed with dusts. - Rotary Scrubber
This equipment removes white smoke resulting from heated acid.
■Deodorizing Device
- Activated Carbon Filter Deodorizing Device(SAF Model・SAY Model)
One touch changing activated carbon cartridge type.
It is possible to select the activated carbon for the particular odor to be neutralized. - Activated Carbon Absorption Tower（AC Model）
It is able to cope with a variety of odors due to the physical absorption of the activated carbon.
The only maintenance required is to changing the tower’s activated carbon and ventilator drive. - Biological Deodorization Tower
Operational maintenance is exceedingly simple. Only irrigation of the biological material and pH maintenance is needed.
The running costs are extremely low as it uses neither chemical liquid nor absorbents.
As it does not use any chemicals it is environmentally friendly.
■Mist Collector
- Mist Separator（TMC Model）
This equipment uses an inertia collision method to separate the gas from mist.
